Many people have been hurt by the Church. I grieve this. The greatest wrong the Church has done is to set itself above people, instead of admitting that it is as flawed as the people it seeks to serve. If churches would simply admit that they are “Flawed people reminding other flawed people to be less flawful,” then they would achieve much more than they have in my opinion. It is necessary though that people see that the Church is made up of flawed people and continue to be in relationship to it. That is the only way that we will ever grow
