The old saying is “Nothing ventured, nothing gained.” That is the whole point of the Jesus Venture. The name Jesus Venture should echo in your head as a new deal, an adventure and a journey.

A venture is an undertaking that is risky. The word can pertain to a business deal that is risky in expectation of gain. It can also be used when you are trying to state something that others might criticize you for. We are doing all of these things. Truly we believe to “live more fully like Christ” is dangerous and risky.

So we hope that you will join us on the adventure of living more fully like Christ by participating in the discussions, commenting and asking questions, because it is only as a community that we will grow in God’s presence.
